Doka MEA is currently looking to recruit a sales-driven formwork professional to join its versatile team. The suitable candidate will be an experienced, dynamic, and professional collaborator who can add significant value to our expansion plans in Africa. The role is based in Dubai and requires frequent travel to various African countries.
This is a dual role, so you will also be Head of Sales for Middle East & Africa, which will require up to 20% of your time.
Duties:
Drive and execute the region’s Africa strategy and meet the agreed targets
Full P&L and profitability responsibility for the Export Countries
Coordinate all resources required for successful project delivery
Manage all internal and external stakeholders and ensure transparent collaboration
Act as a role model, consistently embodying and representing Doka’s strategy, values, leadership culture, compliance and code of conduct
Build up a suitable network of African Contractors & Agents and develop and implement suitable customised processes to meet and coordinate their requirements
Steer and manage a team of Business Developers and back-office staff, located in various parts of Africa
Identify product needs and sales channels
Align with the internal Global Key Account Management Team and Global Expertise Center on project requirements and delivery
Support countries in the region to develop and execute ambitious growth strategies
Mentor and develop Heads of Sales in our country organisations across MEA
Ensure process compliance and common policy implementation
Secure internal and external customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Civil Engineering Degree preferred
Knowledge of Doka processes and products advantageous
Extensive formwork, construction methodology & material experience, ideally in the specified region
Experience in managing large-scale projects
Ability to enable successful collaboration and transparency between numerous stakeholders in a complex international environment
Demonstrated leadership skills, adept at managing diverse and remote teams and delivering results
High integrity and work ethic
Thorough understanding of formwork markets in Africa
Willingness to travel extensively in Africa including the organization of challenging formalities and processes
Excellent skills in English, any other local languages are an advantage
Experience in selling value-added solutions, project management and leading a successful team
Sales oriented mindset and understanding of sales principles
Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, presentation and networking
